Botox

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the first and only treatment FDA-approved to temporarily make moderate to severe
frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines look better in adults. So you look like you, only with less noticeable facial lines.

Treatment requires minimal downtime. You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 7-10 days lasting 3-4 months.

Will I still be able to make facial expressions?


Although the results are visible, a treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic will not radically change your facial appearance. The muscle activity that causes frown lines between the brows is temporarily reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

Are Botox injections painful?

 

Most people do not feel that the injections are painful. Many patients say that the injections feel the same as any other injection, with a slight poking feeling lasting about 30 seconds. Overall, BOTOX® injections produce little to no pain. If this is concerning to you, we do offer Pro-Nox which is similar to the feeling of laughing gas. The effects of Pro-Nox only last about 5 minutes after you stop inhalation. You are able to drive home right afterwards.

 

What areas does Botox treat?

 

Botox is used between the eyebrows for frown lines, on the side of the eyes crow's feet, on the forehead wrinkles, on the nose for bunny lines, under the arms for sweating, and above the lip for a lip flip.

Do I have severe sweating?

 

Is severe underarm, hand, or feet sweating interfering with certain daily activities? Are you afraid to raise your arms in normal situations because of underarm sweat stains? Do you hesitate to buy new clothes because they might be ruined by underarm sweat? Do you worry someone will notice your sweat stains? Are you embarrassed to shake hands because they are sweaty? Ask us if BOTOX® treatment is right for you. When severe underarm sweating gets in the way of certain daily activities and antiperspirants haven't worked, you may be a candidate for BOTOX® treatment.
